In Belarus, on December 1, has changed the boundaries of Minsk, Grodno and Brest region. This is provided by a decree of March 15, 2019 №104.

According to the press service of the State Property Committee, on the basis of the decree of the border area and their areas were registered in the single register of administrative-territorial and territorial units of Belarus.

By the way, up to date information is available on the Public cadastral map Belarus. To date, the spatial information is formed into three regions and 55 districts: 22 - Minsk, 17 - Grodno, 16 - Brest region. Including been harmonized border village councils, which are at the intersection of these areas and regions.

Recall border Minsk, Grodno and Brest region were established in the 1950s, a graphical method based on the cartographic material. Over time, due to reclamation and kulturtehnicheskih works, construction of transport infrastructure boundaries no longer coincide with the hard contours of the terrain (rivers, drainage canals, road network, forests, glades, and others). It is with this and related need for change.
